135 boys from year 8 travelled to Lille on 26^th November/3rd December to visit the Christmas market.

The boys took part in a carousel of activities around the city. They enjoyed climbing to the top of the 'Beffroi' (belltower), where they were rewarded with a beautiful 360 degrees view of the city of Lille. They navigated their way around the city whilst completing a walking tour of the city's most famous monuments and ended up in the Christmas market, where they were able to practise their French and purchase crêpes, burgers, chocolat chaud, jus de pommes chaud and many souvenirs.
