The Old Pharosians' Association 

The Old Pharosians' Association is made up of former pupils and staff of Dover Grammar School for Boys.

Its objectives are to advance the education of the students in the School by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the School (not normally provided by the Local Authority), as well as fostering more extended relationships between the staff, former students and others associated with the School. 

The Old Pharosians' Association are an integral part of the school and are highly valued by all at Dover Grammar School for Boys.

Alumni Engagement

At DGSB, we are keen to develop our network of alumni who are willing to provide career advice to our current students.

As former students who have gone on to have successful careers, your experience is relatable and invaluable to our boys and Sixth Form girls.

We are looking for DGSB alumni to help us in the following ways:

  • Speak to our current pupils about their career, giving them advice, guidance and inspiration on how to get into - and succeed in! - their chosen field
  • Provide an insight for our current Sixth Formers into the university courses our alumni have undertaken
  • Offering work shadowing or work experience
