Our Year 10 STEM leaders have recently completed their STEM leaders qualification.

As the culmination  of their year long course they have independently designed, created and led activities for students in Year 7 and 8 to experience Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematical concepts through engaging, hands-on tasks.

 A wide range of STEM concepts were incorporated by the STEM leaders, such as; mathematical sequences, aerodynamics, density, buoyancy, elastic potential energy, and chromatography, showing the broad interests of the students across the curriculum. 

The STEM leaders course has allowed our Year 10 students to develop the confidence, resilience and leadership skills they need for successful engagement with further study or employment in STEM disciplines.
