James P, a Year 10 student at DGSB,recently performed very well in the UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge, scoring in the top 7% nationally.  He was then invited to take part in the Pink Kangaroo Challenge, which is for the very top performers.  Only 25% of these are awarded a Certificate of Merit. The mark needed for this was 86, and James performed so well that he easily qualified for a certificate of Merit, scoring 107 marks.
