Our Students

Kent Youth County Council (KYCC) is a group of young people aged 11 to 18 years elected to represent and act upon the views, issues and opinions of the young people in Kent.

Four young people are elected to represent each of Kent’s 12 districts and we are delighted that two of our Year 8 pupils, Giorgio and Max, have been elected as members in the Dover district. 

KYCC campaign on 3 issues each year, as decided during the annual election process, as well as working on a number of smaller projects. These include topics such as mental health, environment, curriculum for life and improving public transport. We are very proud of Giorgio and Max. Well done!
